Who we are
Zouridis Music Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16965924), with its registered office at 20 Doman Road, Norwich, NR1 3AW, United Kingdom. We operate across the United Kingdom as a music industry technology and services group across three brands: Signal Suite, Signal Marketing, and Shout Demo Locker. This policy describes how Zouridis Music Ltd and its brands collect, use, and protect personal information.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Zouridis Music Ltd is the data controller for personal information processed through this website and through Signal Marketing engagements.
Data we collect
We collect personal information in three contexts:
- Direct enquiries. When you contact us by email (for example, tim@zii-music.com or ash@signal.promo), we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
- Marketing campaigns. When Signal Marketing runs a creator marketing campaign on behalf of a record label or artist, we process publicly-available information about social media creators (handle, follower count, content category, contact details where the creator has made them public) for the purpose of evaluating fit and managing campaign delivery.
- Software platforms. When you use Signal Suite or Shout Demo Locker, we collect account information (name, email, organisation), authentication data, and the content you create or upload. Each platform has its own in-product privacy notice covering platform-specific processing.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry or provide a service you have requested.
- To plan and deliver marketing campaigns commissioned by our clients.
- To operate and improve our software platforms.
- To comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising or profiling outside the specific service you have engaged us for.
Lawful bases (UK GDPR)
We rely on (a) consent when you contact us or create an account, (b) contract when we deliver a service you have engaged us for, (c) legitimate interests for evaluating publicly-available creator profiles for prospective campaigns, and (d) legal obligation for record-keeping and tax purposes.
Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers we use to operate our business (hosting, payment processing, accounting, email delivery), under written data processing agreements.
- Marketing platforms (such as TikTok, Meta, and similar) when running a campaign on behalf of a client, limited to the data needed for that campaign.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, plus the period required by law (typically six years for accounting records in the United Kingdom). Marketing campaign data is deleted within twelve months of campaign close unless you have an active relationship with us.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, and object to our processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Email tim@zii-music.com and we will respond within thirty days. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
International transfers
Our service providers are based in the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses to provide an appropriate level of protection.
Cookies
This website (zii-music.com) does not set tracking cookies. Our software platforms set strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and essential functionality. Each platform's in-product privacy notice describes those cookies in detail.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers.
